Session: Endocrine Gland

Endocrine Gland

Description:

Endocrine function makes hormone that control moods, growth and development, metabolism, organs, and reproduction.
The endocrine gland send those hormones into the bloodstream so they can travel to other parts of the body. The gland regulates what proportion of every hormone is released. This will depend upon levels of hormones already within the blood, or on levels of other substances within the blood, like calcium. Many things affect hormone levels, like stressinfection, and changes within the balance of fluid and minerals in blood.
