Abstract
Among multiple
disorders of pancreas, pancreatitis is considered to be the most severe one
because of its diverse nature and reasons. Its different types have multiple
biochemical and molecular basis and involves more than one genes or receptors
or pathways for their pathogenesis while many types of pancreatitis still needs
further studies for their etiologies. Moreover these pancreatic disorders occur
due to more than one reason, including biochemical, viral, bacterial or
molecular basis. Each type of pancreatitis can be cured by using multiple
drugs, including natural and synthetic one, and few of these drugs/ remedies
have more than one target in the form of receptors/ genes/ molecules, for their
action. Each of these drugs also has a lot of risks as well but still they are
in use.
